Somerset
The city of Bath is shown in the top left corner along with a legend of places within the city,
and illustrations of five of the baths, and of the Arms of the city.
In the bottom left hand corner are depictions of the coats of arms
of the Earls of Bath and the Earls and Dukes of Somerset.
The detail gone into on this map is fantastic, the Mendip hills and Cheddar are marked,
with a description of a nearby spring which "driveth 12 mills within one quarter of a mile from it's head".
Also marked are famous places such as Glastonbury (the legendary burial place of King Arthur)
along with it's Tor; Wookey Hole, and neighbouring Wells, Britain's smallest city.
This is a superb piece of artwork, and would suit anyone with connections to the county.
